Artist Statement

“ I try to produce pieces of art that are mysterious, evocative intuitive on one hand and colorful, exciting and explosive on the other. The most exciting part of painting to me is letting the creative process unfold. Starting with a vague idea and letting it take me where it must go. I am intrigued with experimentation and obsessed with the excitement of the creative process” --Joan C. Stewart
